Mixing Hard Drives

    I have just got another computer with a 80 gig sata hard drive. I want to use it as aback up system. I have 2 120 ide p-ata hard drives kicking around. Can i put them in with the sata. The moboard is a gigabyte ga-81pe1000, It has pri and secondary ide plugs and 2 sata plugs

    Yes, you can mix and match as long as you have the right type of connectors. On my media pc I have 3 IDE and 2 sata drives running in perfect harmony.
