    Hello,

I have been using the following programs to back up Commercial DVD's for several years with no problems.:

    RipIt4Me Ver. 1.6.9.0
    FixVTS Ver. 1.6.0.3
    DVD Decrypter Ver. 3.5.4.0
    DVD Shrink Ver. 3.2.0.15

I use them under Windows XP SP3.

For the past several months, all the DVD's I've tried to back up, report bad sectors or other problems and I couldn't back them up. Obviously they are doing something different to defeat me from being able to back up my DVD's. Here is some of the DVD's I couldn't back up.:

    Kung Fu Panda
    Swing Vote
    Hancock
    Dark Knight

    Any help would be appreciated.

I'm a little surprised that only using those programs lasted you that long...

Try using latest anydvd and dvd decrypter together. Set dvd decrypter to enable ElbyCDIO and not SPTI, then untick remove structure protection. That should do it 4 u.

    @ dpeel

You may want to upgrade your Ripit4me to 1.7.1.0

But it won't help you to backup Dark Knight

We have existing threads for all the movies mentioned -

    Kung Fu Panda - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/715635
    Swing Vote - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/739678
    Hancock - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/721718
    The Dark Knight - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/720939

..however DVDFab or AnyDVD are all that's needed for all the movies out there. Please post in one of the above threads if need be, but there shouldn't be any need as DVDFab or AnyDVD will rip thru those and all other movies like butter.
