hey guys, im having trouble with this new video card i got. I tried to install it numerous times before but it hasn't worked out for me. Its a geforce 6200 that fits a AGP slot. first problem i had when actualy sliding it into the slot was that the end of the card didnt realy fit in with the lock over it ( hard to explain but will find a pic soon) but i did get the computer on and running for a few seconds. first the fan on the card didnt start up , then i gave it a lil push and now it works. then i would get to my wallpaper screen with new resolution, set it up but when i launched my game my comp would turn off. i reseted it then it gets to wallpaper screen and shuts offf, and dose that numerous times, some times it dosent even let my moniter turn on. I think i might have a bad power supply, or something with the driver. Im not to shure and i just want to get this card installed.

    -thanks

just retryed now after a couple of months. the card went in. computer turned on and i went to install the driver. half way threw the installation the moniter blacks out ( which i tihnk it supose to do) but it never came back on. so i reset it. it gose to the xp loading screen then blue screens on me. keeps resseting by itself and same thing. i just pulled out my card and now im lost.

ooh p.s. i just read my power supply and its 450W so i dont think thats my problem any more.

uninstall previous videocard driver in add/remove programs, shutdown the pc, install new card & load the drivers.
