I just recently purchase a Sony IC Recorder and have about three audio files on it that run almost two hours that I've backed up to my laptop hard drive but now I'd like to burn them onto CD's. Problem is I need to split these files in half so they can fit to a 80 min CD but I'm not able to do it with Windows Media Player and I tried with Nero but it will not recognize the files. I'd also like to add chapters to the files so when I listen back on CD I'd know where to go to. Any help?

    Does this help?

Open the mp3 in Audacity (install the mp3 encoder after installing Audacity)
Split the track and export as new mp3 files
Load one new track and write down the cue points.
Write the cue sheet using Notepad.Save it with the .cue extension.
The content of the cue sheet should refer to the name of the associated mp3 file.
Open the cue sheet in ImgBurn and burn an audio cd.
