my *tarview is not working

    can anyone help my *tarview is not working since last 3 months ? reason tried scanning seem to scan ok but not getting the channels.Plz plz help me .

    have you updated the firmware?
    what doesn't work? is it that it just doesnt automatically update the codes?

    I got the basic star view box and i have tried update by auto scanning.did went ok but seem not working iam based in Oldham Manchester.

    how to down load the GTROM Loader software I have got the Null cable do i need to attach my box to cable as well while doing it,

    Download the GTRom & the correct firmware for your b0x onto your desktop. You`ll need winrar to extract the files from the folders.

    When you have done this, come back & we`ll help you flash the b0x.

    as i have tried doing that GTRom loader keep failing the bin file tried so many times sice this morning.

    Jim, what GTRom & firmware did you download?
    Could you also press menu > system info on the b0x & tell us what it says please?

    Hi I down loaded from Your 4shared.com GTrom4.00 All what is available on the articular web but it dosent seem to work.
    WinRAR system info is
    Starview
    API ver:4.00e_E
    Boot Ver 7.0
    7 Jun boot .

    You need gtrom v4.00exe and cryptstar 1.5, if you have a starview 1.

    Jim, are you saying that you have flashed your box with that BIN file you have posted, because that is the Firmware that was moddified to AU and will still show that in System Information and needs to be unzipped using Winrar - this one >>>

    It contains 2 BIN file Core257.bin and Core400.bin if that is the case then you now need to go through individual channels to find the strongest signal.
