the same message keeps poping up if i try and sync

    ok well im getting this message. some of the videos in your itunes library, including the video " _____", were not copied to the ipod "___" because they connot be played on this ipod. the thing is i have no idea y. the file is a .mov and i even tried shortening the files name. some one plz, if they have any info at all plz help me out.

    The Problem you having is a resolution problem, depends on how and what program you use to encode the video, 5gen ipod videos are very known they could not display videos encoded for the 6 gen ipod classic, again depends on where did you get the videos in particular, you have 2 options, if got your videos from itunes store, then you have no choice but to watch it on your computer, itunes use to have a feature that let you convert videos to play on your ipod, not anymore, it now only have a apple tv option, you can try it, your other option if you didnt get this files from itunes store, you can use videora or handbreak to convert those files to the correct format your ipod will understand, when you first install videora it will ask what kind of ipod you have, and will automatically load, a convention profile for that particular ipod, handbreak has an option in the main screen to add 5gen ipod video support, this mean the video will be converted so that older ipods will be able to play this video, look at the image bellow.
