    Hi
I run a computer with Vista home basic and haven't had a problem till the last few days.the problem is that it keeps installing the same update even though it says it has been successfully Installed. The update is as follows.....:Security Update For Microsoft XML core service 4.0 Service pack2(KB954430).i have never had a problem before and am wondering why it is happening now.It has installed 25 or moretimes any help would be appreciated.

    Hi
Thanks for the advice silk,it seems to have worked a treat, thought i was never gonna stop it updating lol.I tried the 1st link and typed what it said but the update was still there,so i followed your advice and tried the 2nd link and downloaded the update from there and after a restart the update icon had gone :),so many thanks again silk.
