Help burning TV prog to DVD?

    Hi, I use a programme called CyberLink Power Cinema 5 to watch digital TV on my pc. I sometimes record/burn TV programmes using the power cinema programme to my PC's hard drive.
    However when I then attempt to burn one of these TV programmes from off the PC hard drive onto a newly formatted DVDRW and then play it in my stand alone DVD Player/Recorder, though the programme plays ok the actors mouths are out of synch with the words they are speaking and the picture tends to flicker.
    Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I would solve this problem?
    I use a programme called NCH Express Burn to burn to DVDRW.
