Well there is 2 ways to do this.
    First using >> [bold]HDprepar[/bold]
It writes zeros and partition info on the hd, to make new HD ready for Evox HD Format.

Well I haven't kept recent tabs on the scene so I could be wrong..And all u need is to add the New HDD and just format it with Evox boot disc.

Getting a image of a xbox HDD and using HDD Driver and just restoring that image to the new HDD.Which in fact do every thing for u.

Just download slayers 2.5, it will do everything for you and set up your new hard drive. You dont have to format the drive on your pc or anything. You download the .iso of slayers, burn the image to a media that is compatible with your xbox. Make sure that it boots before you rip apart your xbox. If it does, simply remove your old hard drive, set your new hard drive to cable select and install it. Then turn back on your xbox, you might get and error but no biggie, just pop in the slayers cd and restart your xbox and follow the instructions so that you format the drive to your liking. I installed a hard drive (120 gig) formated it, and installed slayers in less than 20 min. It is a piece of cake. Best of all it sets up everything real nice. Try it you will see what I mean. Good Luck!

sounds easy enough......do i just find that program on the web somewhere by typing it in on google or is there a specific place to find it? Also, will i have a problem installing a 160GB HD? I was told as long as i use the latest evoX bios and dash i shouldnt have a problem.

Although someone on the IRC told me last night to use the x2 4981 bios.....any thoughts?
