conecting wireless xbox 360 to pc

    hopefully someone can point out the obvious here.

    ive bought a wireless xbox 360 controller to use with my pc (running vista). However i bought it under the assumption that the wireless reciever i use for my keyboard and remote control would be do the same job for the controller. Ive tried switching the controller on to see if the reciever picks it up but no joy.

    In short do i need to buy a reciever specifically for the controller or can i use the wireless reciever i currently use for my keyboard/ remote control.

    you need the xbox 360 wireless gaming receiver. play and charge kit will not work.

    Thanks for that, now i just need to find someone who has it in stock.
