   i may have a virus in my mp3 player cause it shuts down my computer every time i plug it in.does anyone know how to fix this problem??????

   I doubt that a virus is a problem. A virus that shut down a computer on contact would not be very virulent.
   
   I would guess your mp3 player is a "Chipod" that has gone bad.
