Help with hp laptop

I Threw up on my laptop two nights ago cause i drank too much beer and it just turned off and i dont know what to do tried cleaning it and the laptop lights turn on without me turnin them on and i dont even hear the hdd powerin up or anything else is my laptop in computer heaven or did i just nont clean something right please help

 

If you have the skill to do so, I'd entirely disassemble it and make sure everything is properly cleaned - and don't turn it back on until it's dry.

 

yeah whats a good cleanin solvent that i can use? Ive completly disasembled the laptop and im ready to clean it

 

I would advise against using anything more than a damp cloth.

 

thanks ddp and sammoris your help revived my laptop from the grave and sammoris i used a cotton swab to pick up crap where the cloth couldnt reach
