I just purchased Nero9 and have Nero7 Essential already on the computer. Can I install Nero9 right over the top of Nero7 or should I try to uninstall Nero7 first. I couldn't find anything on this topic but may have type the search incorrectly. Thanks. Don't install Nero 9 over Nero 7 - do a clean install. Uninstall Nero 7 - run the clean tool and reboot. Clean Tool. Me I then run ccleaner. Nero like other somewhat 'bigger' apps has a tendency to leave a lot behind. That step is up to you - I use the cleaner and registry option. Then install Nero 9.

Not a problem Mac. For any version of Nero I upgrade I always do a clean install - minimal problems if any on the different pc's I run Nero on.
