Has anyone ran into this problem?

Basically, this is what I'm trying to do. I have the DVDs for the series Rescue Me, so i bought some DL discs and i'm trying to combine the episodes on the single layer to put on the DL, in reality cutting the number of DVDs in half.

I rip the files onto my computer. Then i use DVD shrink to pick the episodes and rip another iso with the combined file i want on the dvd.

When i boot up img burn to burn the final iso onto the DVD, i get this error:

Optimal L1 Data Zone Start LBA: none found!
image has not been mastered correctly for burning onto a DL disc
none of the cells meet the dvd-video specification criteria for potential layer break position.

    Can somebody help?
