Could hardcoding subs to my DVD file fix my problem?

I have many DVD's that i'd like to edit so to have my name pop up every once and awhile (i.e "this is property of Kylejon"). Reason being to prevent illegal copies.

What is the best way to do this so that my name can't be removed? Could hardcodingsubs onto the file be an option?

If so, would it be possible for someone to completely remove what i have done, or blur it out?

Hardsubbing seems like a good option. It... I dunno, "burns" the subtitle into the picture, so to answer your third question, the only way to get rid of it would be to crop it out of the picture (which would throw off the aspect ratio and make anyone who gets it think, "Whuh?") or blur it, which would likewise make a person go, "Whuh?"

On the other hand, you could just, like, not distribute it onto the net, too. I'm pretty sure you could get sued or whatever for distributing a large chunk of the footage onto the net. If it's like a quick montage or something, though, then you probably have nothing to worry about.
