The name of laptop MOBO

    Guys I know the name of my desk top MOBO since it came with its manual booklet. The problem is I got this laptop from one guy who lost its MOBO drivers.How do I get to know its name and discriptions in case I want to download its drivers for re-formatting purposes? It does not show it during boot like my desktop.Is there any possible means.

    I would start with the manufacturer's website.

    Does the laptop have ANY distinguishing markings that would indicate a manufacturer or model number?

    Laptop motherboards are all proprietary. Trial and error could take a long, long time.

    This is called Emachine. They were given to some students of one of the university here.
