   i wanted to convert a avi file so ican play it on my dvd player, i've been told to use TMPGEnc dvd author but how the f**k do u use it? help me please

   TMPGEnc DVD Author will only be used once you have an MPEG2 (DVD Compliant) file...
   
   You need to encode .avi to MPEG2 first , using TMPGEnc Plus or MainConcept MPEG Encoder etc !!
