Site update - March 16th 2010

AfterDawn.com has been updated! In addition to renewing the layout of the site we have also speeded up things considerably. The new version has been tested on our Finnish site for several months, and during the testing we have managed to improve the new version even further.

You can now enjoy this new layout at English AfterDawn.com and English Discussion Forums as well! We have also introduced new sections to the site, and re-arranged things a bit.

Read more about the update and let us know what you think!

HOW TO DOWNLOAD ONLINE GAMES AND PLAY THEM WITH NO LAGGING

Requirements:

Windows XP or Newer
MpcStar/GOMplayer/Internet Explorer
Mozilla Firefox
An Online Game
Knowledge of Source Encoding

1. Go to http://www.mpcstar.com/ and download MpcStar
2. Go to the website with your online game
3. On the top, select View : Page Source
4. Press Ctrl+F and type ".swf". It will show you a website ending with ".swf:"
5. Highlight the site, Press Ctrl+C, and close the encoding window
6. On the address bar of Firefox, Press Ctrl+V
7. Your game will show up in full screen
8. Go to File : Save Page As and save the .swf
9. Launch the .swf with MpcStar and play it

Note: The game MAY lag if you have a slow computer. Also make sure that the game is a flash game (mostly 2D but some are 3D).

If you are too lazy to do this, send me a private message with your email and the online game. I'll send you the download for it.

What about games w/file extensions? (001, 002) I've tried winrar and 7zip, but it's a little more complicated than I thought
