i was trying to softmod my son's xbox but the thing is after installment i deleted some kind of file. after deletion i might have deleted c drive, back up or eeprom. dont know yet. now i cant softmod it anymore, ive been trying to reinstall the soft mod but the tv just blackout and the xbox has the red ring. does anyone knows whats wrong with it and how can i reinstall softmod or maybe put back the default xbox setting. can anyone please help me out. my son really wants to play his xbox.
maybe you messed up the ms dashboard.... try to run the softmod again. or try to put in an original >2005 xbox game, which has live support. put the game in, and see if it boots. if so, update the dashboard (make sure you do not have an active internet connection on your xbox). the game might repair your messed up dashboard, from then on you can run the softmod again.
