I just installed iLife on my MBP and after the forced reset, the cursor is stuck in the top left corner and the keyboard/trackpad doesn't work. I'm running 10.5.6. Mouse/Keyboard did not work in safe mode but they work in Windows via bootcamp. I'm new to macs so don't know how to troubleshoot them so any help would be appreciated.
You must have seriously affected or even deleted some coding. My suggestion is to take out the battery and then reboot the system to see if that helps. If not ring apple up or take your mbp in to a genius as they are very nice and won't charge you for a appointment.
