    I have a 3-drive raid-5 array with tons of stuff on it. After a bios update, the nvidia raid rom came up with 3 seperate broken arrays. I turned the system off, unplugged them and went to raid rom. Then I shut down and re-connected the drives. nVidia raid rom detected an array and rebuilt it instantly. However, windows sees it as a new disk, not even initialized!

    Did I just loose everything?

    {UPDATE}
    I brought all three drives to my buddy that has a pair of programs just for this. RAID Reconstructor & GetDataBack for NTFS...the first made a virtual image of the array, the second took about a day to scan that image, but is now pulling working files of the drives! Once I go through the 1.5TB of files found from 1.0TB of storage, I will know if i lost anyything.
