Ifoedit can Remux a movie.m2v file thats been squashed with Rempeg , that is it can rebuild the new , smaller movie back into the vob files which is kind of authoring and its free :)
There are plenty of other programs that can author a movie into a DVD from its component parts , sound , movie , menus ETC and they work just fine with the 104 like Spruceup and DVD Maestro but they aren't free .
Im affraid that since most DVD's are bigger that 4.3gig you're going to have to learn how to split them , squash them and/or just strip them down to the bare movie . There are guides everywhere on how to do all the different methods , you'll just have to print them out and read through them . Oh and make sure you buy at least one DVD-RW to practice on ;)
