Can anyone with a Sony BDP350 with the latest firmware confirm whether or not it plays encodes with DTS where tsMuxeR was used to mux. Please test on a DVD5 or DVD9, and BD-R/RW if possible.

I have this player but I am reluctant to update because of rumours I have heard, that Sony has dropped DTS support on AVCHD format discs.

    Thanks.

Lack of onboard DTS-HD Master Audio decoding facility is one of the issues with Sony BDP-S350 Blu-ray Player. But, if you have newer reciever, you can take advantage of DTS.

Thanks for the reply. My concern is DTS in AVCHD format created by tsMuxeR specifically. I am aware that this player does not decode DTS HD-MA.

If anyone with a disc with this format and specs, with the BDP350 that already has the latest firmware please test. Thanks.
