Hello i just formatted and reinstalled windows xp but now i cant install the drivers for the onboard graphics/vga anyone know where i can get it from? Thanks in advance Its a Acer EM61SM/EM61PM
Well, those are the drivers. Plenty of Google hits to back that up. If you can't get them to work properly, that's a different problem.
Are you sure its ATI? They made them with Nvida chips too? Interesting I jsut got done with updating a AX2 2.0 Laptop with a Nvidia 8100M chipset , my uncle got it for 350$, I got DSL so I get to update it, its running Vista home and it runs hella nicely played some HD videos on it and it ran flawlessly. I might try and experiment with vista some now.... Oh anyone know why when I try and enter the acer support website fire fox wants to download the oclt/stream and not load the frigging page? He has a acer desktop... http://us.acer.com/acer/service.do;...tx1g.c2att92=453&ctx1.att21k=1&CRC=3529792491 Now when I put in the URL of the site it loads fine http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/forms/webpage.cfm?siteid=7117&areaid=2&website=AcerPanAm.com ------------- Anyway I think I found it http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/fo....com&siteid=7117&words=all&keywords=&areaid=2 I really hate pages you can not link to I can't link you to the main driver page for the 380, but your computer is a 380 and it will show all the drivers for your unit. Do you know the chipset numbers for your mobo if so I can find the drivers for them from the maker...I really hate relying on acer/compaq/hp,ect for drivers....
http://www.acerpanam.com/synapse/fo....com&siteid=7117&words=all&keywords=&areaid=2 waz wrong with my link I tested in IE (frist viewed it in FF, if its a hotlinked protected it would not show up in IE) it links fine
