In xp pro how do I get system restore to function? In SOUNDS/DEVICES the choice for placeing the volume on the taskbar is in shadow, non functional. Since restore does not function I do not know if this choice will return if I CAN get it to work. Any ideas? As an alternative I placed a volume onto the desktop which is covered by the player. I would like a second volume when needed. Is there a way to drag the desktop volume into the task bar? Solutions please.
To me it looks like your need to install your Audio drivers. But if you need to use system restore, go here. Start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> System Restore

ddp(moderator) of this thread. I am rtrg NOT code blue. My only reason for being a member is to get help for issues I do not understand. I DO NOT own a web site, and the only time I provide a web address is when I feel I can help some one else. I have no control over any link another member will provide me. With all due respect you apparently have issues with CODE BLUE not me. Most of the links I recieve are of no use simply because my issue seems to be an unknown occurance, and not even MICROSOFT can help. I hope you understand this reply. I am not here to cause trouble to any one. I appreciate the help I have gotten, and will continue using this site as long as I find it helpful.
