I recently installed XP on my machine after i had a boot virus, i was previously running on Vista basic but was not impressed, after finally getting all my software back onto my machine thhe 1st time i tried to use Nero i had a message pop up which read hardware accelerator is deactivated & i should activate it using the directx diagnostics tool but i cannot find it. I have found the hardware accelerator going through control panel, display, settings, advanced & then finally troubleshoot but this says that all accelerations are enabled. Is there anyone that can help everything i am trying to burn now is not working. Cheers........Greentina
Click Start > Run, then type in: dxdiag I think there is more than one setting for hardware acceleration.
