ok simple question really I purchased project gotham racing today n it seems to be a pretty good racing game but what is the best racing game for the xbox as I only usually play gran tourismo on the play station 2 well cuz I think thats the best racing game by far so far oohh n what is sega gt like and do you have to be online to actually play it? cheers as ever DaOsT
I have not played them all but my vote definatly goes to Burnout 2.. what a adrenaline rush.. It rocks in my book.. Matt
I agree, Burnout 2 ROCKS!! Though it doesnt have the flashy graphics of some of the racing games (all the cars are generic, not name brand) It rocks if you like to race fast and dangerous, and if you are like me and like to cause ALOT of damage.. hehehe If not, I hear that PGR 2 is pretty good, and Need for Speed is supposed to ROCK also.
I played need for speed underground. I wasn't that impressed. It lacked the feeling of going fast. Burnout 2 plays awsome in 480p with 5.1 digital surround and 55 inch high def.. I cant get enough of it.. Matt

I use the Digital Audio out on my High Definition pack it's a optical connection. I cant remember if the one that comes with the XBOX has it or not. Hope this helps. Matt

It's the pack that lets you connect your XBOX to your TV. They make differnet ones. I needed a High Definition pack because I have a HD televison. I think the one you need is called the Advanced audio pack or something like that.. sorry.. Here is a web site that tells you everything about a game. 480P,720P,1080I are all high resolution video modes that the XBOX supports. You just need a high definition TV to take advantage.. In a nut shell they make your XBOX games look like a Hi res video game on the PC only it's playing on your 55 inch tv.. Looks amazing.. Matt
