How do I rip shows from my PVR hard drive?

    I have a Bell Satellite with an HD receiver, that is not a PVR, but the controller has the buttons for it. I hooked my 250GB External HDD to the usb in the back, and I am able to use the PVR controls. I want to know how I rip the shows from the ex. hard drive and onto my pc. I hooked the hdd to my pc, but I can't access it.

    Any help?
