I have the bios and everything but it haults

I have the chip and i goet some bios i think its right it should be right and i followed every instruction i have evox for the boot and i have a Chameleon it haults tho can someone please tell me whats going on?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! i still cant play my xbox

 

hault could mean a few thigs, do u get a screen? do u see evox? do u see xbox at the begining but then it resets, give me more info and i might be able to help

 

I have a Chameleon mod chip and It flashes blue in the xbox and then it loads up Cormwell with the penguin on top right corner and a big Chameleon in the middle then i put in the disk and it says Reading disk or what ever then it says LINUXBIO.BIN something or other then Hault...

 

This is where you put in your cd with the bios you want on it and it will flash.

 

But i dont even get the evox dashboard it still has the chameleon and it dosent let me do anything

 

teah dude you need to flash your bios with a bios cd

ok now i have the D0 hole the E&P solderd but it says that mode 4 is used most often and thats when i hold down the Power or Eject or both for 3 secconds... But dose it have to be in any special bnak for this to happen?

 

ok hold up...... i have it in mode 4 and everything set but when i push the power button my xbox shuts its self of 2 times and then the third time you have to puseh the eject button to get it started and the eject button flashes red and green when i do this but when i just push the eject button it loads up normally whats going on the linux screen dosent appear even when i do the power one?

 

if you never flashed your cromwell then put your chip back to mode1 then it will boot cromwell the you can flash

 

you NEED to flash the chip before you can do anything else, otherwise its useless
