    Hi folks

I purchased an LG423000 LCD TV just over 6 weeks ago. I am having an issue where by I am getting a flashing banner across the top of the screen saying "no information" that keeps flashing every couple of seconds. When I try to go to the menus the tv seems to go into some kind of loop and the menus keeping flicking between each other.

I am connected with Chorus NTL in Dublin. It is a real pain.At the moment until I get things set up properly I have been running NTL through a scart lead and when I want to watch a DVD I am unplugging the same scart and connected it to the DVD player. Now even when watching a DVD I am getting the message about "no information".

I have tried doing a factory reset but each time I go to do that it starts and then after a second or two it flickers again between menus and in affect caught in some sort of loop again.

I am wondering if it would be software of the TV or not??

Anybody have any suggestions? Appreciate the help.

I'm no expert, But I would say there is a problem with the software.
Try calling LG customer service and see what they say.
It's only six weeks old, so it'll be under warranty.
But being that new and having a problem already, I would try and get a new tv from them and not a repaired unit.

    Good Luck
