Hi, I am trying to connect speakers that I usually use for my mp3 (they have only the green jack) for my TV so I bought a cable that links the green thing of the speakers to a white and red plug for the TV but it does not work. Any idea what I missed? Did you turn on the external Speaker output on your TV? On some TVs you have to explicitly turn it on since it turns the internal speakers OFF. Look for a setting that looks something like: AUDIO OUTPUT = INT/EXT
