    This is very frustrating.

In XP, If I needed to remove a dup file names in a FOLDER like (1) or (2) xxx(1).txt

All we had to do is "search" enter:(1) and it would list them on the right pane to copy or cut to another folder.

I have spend hours trying to get it to do an EXACT search for what I want. If I enter (7), I get the (7) BUT also all the -7, +7, @7, etc.

HOW do I make it give me what I asked for to simply search a folder for a specific file name or the part of a file name?

I am using Vista Home Premiun

Download a program called "Everything" it does extremely fast searches, it pretty much searches as you type, and it uses barely any resources.
