Hello all. So I managed to pull out my old Sony IDE DVD writer to place it inside my new HTPC. I picked up a new LG GH22LS30 SATA writer to put in my main PC. I was in the process of putting some things back on my main computer but the new driver recognizes some of the disc. For the ones that don't work, I get the "no disc in drive" error. There is clearly material on the disc, but it's acting up. The odd thing is that all the discs work on the old drive still, except one(?). They were verified originally so I don't know what is going on. I have:

Made sure wires where connected properly
Made sure MB drivers where updated
About to get my screwdriver to kill this new drive and order a new one.

All these disc are on Verbatim DVD+R. All disc burned with Roxio Creator 9. I'm not sure if it's Roxio burning issue, or what. Can someone please help me to A) fix this issue, or B) tell me what burning program to use to maximize future readability/reliability? Any help would be terrific.

    Thanks!

Now that I think about it. I believe some of the disc where burned with Ashampoo...uh. Could this be the culprit? I was verifying the discs with ImgBurn today, and the ones that I could read said they were left incomplete...so I could only imagine what the is wrong with the ones I cannot read. What do you guys think?
