Recently I got a new computer, and built it all together with a friend of mine. Just today my sound card just blew (I have no idea what happened. Sound Blaster X-FI Xtreme Audio from Creative)

Anyways, right now I need a substitute audio source. When I try plugging in my headphones to my nForce 780i SLI mainboard, I get nothing.

Any help would be great :) (Pic is an example.)

You need to set 'speakers' as default, and make sure the HD Audio control panel is running (for realtek, I believe it's usually called rthdcpl)

make certain the onboard sound is enabled in the bios & the driver is loaded in windows.
