e-Geforce 8500 gt problem :(

    Hi well... i formatted my computer yesterday and went to put in my video card and installed the driver and it said it finished and i restarted the computer and disabled my int. graphics card in bios and proceeded with the start up... i hooked up the vga to the 8500 and it started up as normal but after it loaded with the windows screen everything went black and didn't do anything i repeated this many times and nothing... im running windows xp professional Help?

    If you enable the integrated graphics while the GT is connected does it boot into windows? If so does windows detect the GT?

    Well when i go into device manager it detects it and b4 i reformatted my computer it worked with int. disabled and i put it on auto and it still didn't boot

    Safe mode and try and install a different driver?
