    Hello,

I have a NEC DVD_RW ND-3520A burner and am attempting to burn a movie from files. I decoded it to DVD format using Winavi and then used IM Burn to burn it to the DVD+RW. When I inserted the RW disk, IM Burn informed me that it was the wrong format and asked if I wanted to let it format it correctly. I said yes and it went on it's merry way. However, I received an image sector error before it finished and it would not let me go any further with it. I have burned to DVD+R disks using these same programs and am wondering what, if anything is the problem here. Am I using the wrong kind of media? It will not let me erase these files and they are nnnot any good to me because they are incomplete and worthless. Thank you for any help.

Try ImgBurn, Tools>Drive>Erase Disc>Quick. You may need to do “full” instead of "Quick", if the disc was written other than ImgBurn.

(You know RW disk has its short life…)

    Hope this helps
