I currently have the i7 core 920 and the EAH4870X2, I have been recieving lower benchmark scores than usual, which clock speeds are recommended for these two components?

Which benchmarks? If you're thinking of 3dmark06, you'll be limited by your CPU.

    why would it be limited?

because 3dmark06 requires far more from the CPU than the graphics card, hence why it's not a realistic test.

So, my i7 is too weak for 3d Mark Vantage?

for one, no, and for two, it's not because it's too weak, it's just because 3dmark is much more CPU dependent than real games, it's just how things are, you don't need to worry, the i7 provides admirable real world performance (though i7s are still very poor value for game systems, as Core 2s are often faster)
On the motherboard, you should only remove stickers that peel right off. The ones that are securely attached are there intentionally, and will probably leave an ugly, sticky mess if you try and remove them.
