I am using nero 7 ultra, and the latest version of dvd fab decrypter to back up my movies. I just purchased a new laptop with the dvd DL burn feature, but I dont want to use those. I want to continue using my dvd+r to back up my movies. However, it keeps telling me in the final step to burn my movie using nero that I need to insert a dvd dl disc. I have checked all the settings, and I made sure that I had the setting for dvd-5 4.7 marked as I have on my old laptop and it still gives me this message and rejects my dvd+r. can anyone help me out? am I missing a step or an option in the menu.
Can the drive burn DVD+R? Run Nero Info Tool;it lists the drives capabilities. http://www.nero.com/enu/support-nero8-tools-utilities.html
what is the size of the file you need to burn ? perhaps you need to employ dvd shrink or nero recode or dvd rebuilder to get the file size down to fit on a dvd-5
