    Hey everyone,
I have a 1,500 dollar budget (maybe a little more) to build a computer, and I was wondering if someone could recomend parts. I'm completely new to building a PC, but based on the prices on newegg, I can build a pretty good PC.
    Thanks in advance.

What are you building it for? Gaming, Encoding? Cuz I'm starting to build my first one. and i was given some links to some pretty good stuff to build a Budget Encoding computer for right around $650-$700. I could pass them on to you If your interested.

The HD4870X2 is both those things. You can't buy a single card as fast as the 4870X2, to match its speed you have to buy a dual card, or two cards.
