reading up on the chips and just wondered if this chip can be fitted without the switch ? and also still be flashed with the bios the same way by just popping the cd in the drive ? cheers.
why would u want to put it in with no swich when it now comes with a swich as standard, and yes you do need a swich or else you cant swich between banks, or turn the chip off to play xbox live.
i dont really want a switch as i have young children that would mess with it also i aint interested in xbox live. i would probably change the hard drive and that's it. just wanted to know if the chip would work exactly the same and can be flashed without the switch. cheers.
