i was wanting to know can i backup my windows xp home cd that came with my pc n also how if i can

    Changed my post after I re-read yours.

    If you have the CD, just make a backup of it with CD burning software.

    <added> Sorry, I meant to say image. Glad you figured it out.

    i use nero and it says its copy protected which may cause errors so which progam to use i know there is tons but which one is best

    never mind it ripped it into an imgage then i burned it to a dvd and verified all the data thanks for ur reply
