hey guys hi m kaushik from india...i have got this strange problem in running c&c 3...i will tell you beforehand it is a pirated dvd.when i start the game it is pretty smooth and i have even completed the game....but when i patch it up and then i start the game it shows an error sign showing please insert dvd.....i have treid all the patches but to no avail....please someone help as i cannot play any mods
When you did the update patch it changed the .exe file to the newer version so now it looking for the orginal dvd. Yes there is away to fix it, but can't say in here.

this is basically how it works, 1) you BUY a game, you can use a no-cd patch. 2) when you update it undoes the no-cd patch, so you have to patch it again with either the same no - cd patch or an updated no-cd patch. you have a no-cd patch, which is ok you have a pirated disc, this is not ok.
