Have chor*s ariel, wat do i need???

Hi i got chorus today was told id be gettin pipe but ended up with ariel. was wondering wat i need to get. do i need all this down converter and power supply stuff??? or do i jus need box and to flash it. new to this so all help welcomed!!

i was new once too

alot of people went to the trouble of typing it out

ive read all posts, but none say if i can use digivox t with the ariel chor*s provide.

 

this is my set up

digivox T
downconverter
chor&& aerial (that was left on my neighbours roof)(square mesh dish)

its a square aerial (mesh) for the roof
I wired it up the same way as ch&&us BUT with the digivox T
and is working

I tested it all first and this is what I did:

I went to a friend of mine that had ch&&us
I just took out their box
I put in my box
and it all worked

so if you are with ch&&us now you have all the stuff already
just change the box

yea should work away for you

I just have the chor** aerial + downconverter + digivox T
with no subscription (thats me)

and all the channels are there
plus I put the aerial up

just a bit of something to think about
just down- grade your chor** service to the minimun package
just in case they take your aerial (but they shouldnt)

ps...
you should flash the box with the latest firmware

see digivox T (get it going)

and

digivov T (get it going UPDATED)

plus its all on the site from other users too in case you run into problems
