New starview remote control

We needed a new remote control due to my baby drooling into our old one but now we cant access the menu with 1570, like we used to before. Anyone know if we need to do anything to synchronise the remote with the box? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi, sorry, i wasnt very clear. We got a new remote control but now the 1570 code doesnt work and wondered how we can access the menu with the new remote.

did u get a starview remote or other make of box remote,as menu1570 is the one to use,unless a pvr model different code.

 

hi there, yeah a starview remote, it was exactly the same remote as I had before and it worked fine with 1570.

 

try the old way-menu-parental control -info2004 i think.

 

Mine is
menu -parental control -i (info button) -2007

 

might have got a faulty remote,u can only access emu once from memory,enter wrong data u will have to exit menu then go back in.
