A few years ago, I came across what I remember to be freeware screen-capture software enabling people to create simple tutorial video's. Does anyone know of such software (or one that is paid software)? This particular software I remember to also be able to "know" your mouse-clicks and would input that into the video automatically. I've tried Techsmith's Camtasia Studio however, it's far too complicated for what I am looking for. For example, want something simple so I can explain to a friend how to extract files from a compressed file...however would like to do it visually as, talking to him on the phone seems to be futile.

    Appreciate the help in advance.

Try this freebie. Easy to use and has it's own animated tuts

    http://debugmode.com/

then click on Wink presentation creator. There you will find a brief description and such and a download link too... :)

Works perfect on XP. No adware or nastys etc

    Cheers.
