Recently I found out that my XP doesn't have "East Asia Languages" file which will enable me to input chinese character. Please tell me what should I do or where can I get it. I have downloaded a file "ie_zht.exe" from Microsoft website which I assumed I can input chinese character after downloading but it didn't work. HELP, PLEASE. Thanks.

Yes, I did. This is what I did - opened the Regional & Language Options, under the Supplemental language support section, "install files for East Asian Languages" was in a lighter print, (if u know what I mean.) While the "install files for complex script.... " is in normal print. It would mean that I don't have that file, right? I hv to confess that I am not tecno-savvy.

If it's grayed out, that means that it is already installed and you may have to go to the Advanced TAB and enable Chinese language.

Also, did you change your input language to Chinese in the "Text Services and input languages" --> Details box?
