folder options

    hi guys i just want to ask some questions everytime i choose the folder options on my pc the hidden folders cannot display? even i selected the show hidden files and folders and uncheck the hide protected files? when selcting it again the default settings to folder option is anable..

    if you are being sure to check the box that says show the hidden folders and files, then thats all you need to do. If the folder isnt showing up then the folder isnt there.
    To hide a folder right click on it and go to properties and then click make this folder hidden and then go back to the menu and have the computer not show hidden files.

    If you want to show hidden files for ALL folders do this:

    Open Windows Explorer
    Tools --> Folder Options --> View --> Show hidden files and folders --> Apply to all folders

    If not, you will need to set the values for each folder as you go along.

    Moved to something a bit more appropriate since this isn't a hardware issue
