Everytime i want to right click My Computer to go to properties, i get this message and i've been getting it for about 5 months now and it never really bothered me because it did not interfer with my work but now it is.
I have Kaspersky, and it says that nothing is wrong, so i dont think it is a virus or anything of that manner.
Here is the error message i recieve when attempting to go to My Computer Properties:

    rundll32.exe - Bad Image

The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\systerm32\SYSDM.CPL is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

Any suggestions. It driving me crazy.

*.CPL files are Control Panel files. System properties are a Control Panel function.

Just Google "sysdm.cpl error" or "corrupt sysdm.cpl" and you should find some solutions to your issue.

It's funny because today, i closed my Kaspersky Antivirus for no apparent reason, and then i was able to right click My Computer to got to properties. This means that it has something to do with Kaspersky Antivirus; probably Kaspersky see's it as a someone or soemtihng trying to corrupt My Copmuter within properties. Anyways, thanks for the replies.
