When I startup my computer, there is a good 30 seconds between the loading bar disappearing and then the logon screen showing up. I'm running windows vista x64 and windows 7 beta 32bit, and the problem effects both operating systems, so I think it's something to do with my hardware, but I can't for the life of me think what. I have an e6750 clocked @ 3.6ghz, 2gig of ram, 680i mobo, and both of my OS drives don't really have much stuff on them so they don't need a defrag.
Any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

no :( but i do have a seagate external drive plugged in via an esata to internal sata converter, and it goes to sleep after a period of inactivity, so could this amount of time be the drive's waking up period?
