Ok, the email notifications about updated threads have been one of the main complaints from our users during the last couple of years, but finally we've done something about the issue Now the email notifications wont be sent out more than once a day (per thread) unless you visit the link in the notification email, in which case the "counter" gets zeroed and you will receive a notification email next time someone posts a message to that thread, whether its been five minutes or 30 days since last time you visited the thread.
